A red-brick cottage with a blue door beside St Leonard’s Church in the quiet village of Scorborough in Yorkshire, England. The church was completed in 1859, replacing an earlier structure. Reflecting former Viking settlements in the area, the name “Scorborough” derives from a Norse word that means “temporary building in a wood”.
