The Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, California. Sarah Winchester, widow of firearm magnate William Winchester (inventor of the Winchester rifle), began construction of the house in 1886 and continued constructing additions to the house until her death in 1922. The design of the house has many peculiarities, and today it serves as a museum.
