Whalehead Club was a private hunting lodge built in the early 1920s in a remote area on the north end of North Carolina’s Outer Banks. The area teemed with waterfowl. Today, the 21,000 square foot historic mansion has been restored to its 1920s decor and furnishings and is accessible to the public.
