An imposing view of the “Volcano of Water” rising above Antigua, Guatemala. The volcano got its name when an eruption in 1541 caused a large mudflow that wiped out the former site of the capital. The volcano’s name contrasts with the name of another nearby volcano known as the “Volcano of Fire”.
