The term Victorian houses come from a style of architecture popularized during the era of England’s Queen Victoria who reigned for most of the 19th century.  Different styles of Victorian architecture include Italianate, Stick, and Queen Anne.  Distinguishing features of each have to do with roof lines, windows, bay windows, gables, extending facades, and ornamentation.
