Tumski Bridge (meaning “Cathedral Bridge”) connects Cathedral Island with the historic center of Wrocław, Poland, and is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. The bridge was built in 1889 and was renovated in 2019. Before its renovation, it was covered with padlocks placed on the bridge by couples to symbolize their love, but the locks had to be removed after they began weighing down the bridge by several tons.
