Exhibit of red poppies at England’s Tower of London. The exhibit is called Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red and was designed by artist Paul Cummins. The exhibit is comprised of 888,246 red ceramic poppies representing the number of British casualties in World War I. The exhibit was opened on August 5, 2014, the 100 year anniversary of Britain’s entry into World War I.
