Three King Penguins on the go at Volunteer Point in the Falkland Islands. King Penguins are the second largest in size, after Emperor Penguins. They do not build nests for their eggs, but balance them on their feet and keep them warm beneath skin called a “brood pouch”. The parents take turns with the egg during the incubation period.
