James Smith & Sons is a famous umbrella shop in London, England. The shop was founded in 1830 at Foubert’s Place, off Regent Street, and later moved to 53 New Oxford Street, where it still stands. Samuel Fox invented a lightweight steel frame for umbrellas in 1851 and, this shop was one of the first to use them.
