A massive red boulder rests on flat bedrock beside a ghost gum tree at Karlu Karlu (Devils Marbles) in Australia’s Northern Territory. There are many boulders and rock formations like this in the reserve and colors change dramatically depending on the light. The area is sacred to the Aboriginal people, and visitors are asked to not climb the rocks.
