Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria, Germany is perhaps the world’s most beautiful castle. It is certainly one the most well known and is visited by over a million visitors each year. Neuschwanstein Castle was built in the late 1800s by King Ludwig II. However, the original plan was for a much larger castle complex which was never completed.
