Timor Deer (or Javan rusa) frolicking on the pink beach at Komodo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located on the Lesser Sunda Islands in Indonesia. The park was founded in 1980 to protect the Komodo dragon, which exist nowhere else in the world and are the main predator of the deer. The pink beach (one of seven in the world) gets its color from tiny marine creatures which produce a red pigment on the coral reefs, which then combine with the white sands.
